Mice Control in Boise and Surrounding Areas

Professional Mouse Control in Boise, Idaho

Having uninvited rodents in your Boise home is most definitely a bad thing. Most people are a bit scared of these furry creatures and are disturbed to find their droppings around their house. But fear and disgust are the least of your worries when it comes to a rodent infestation. When rodents get into your house, they introduce your family to diseases and parasites and can destroy your home and belongings. At Averse, we offer effective rodent services that will eliminate your rodent problem.

Inspect

Every area and every property is different, and will attract different spider species. We will get info from the homeowner and if necessary, inspect your property so we know the potential pests to be aware of. You know your property much better than we do, so we will ask questions to ascertain what pests are present.

Plan

Once we understand what we're up against, we will customize treatment products and methods to make the best pest control plan of attack for your home and property. Homeowners often call after weeks or months of trying to battle on their own - this is usually due to misidentification.

Treat

We will find out the extent of the spider infestation and decide our plan of attack. We have found success in sweeping down eaves and nests along fence lines, and then applying a residual product where the spiders were to deter them from building their webs and nests again.

How We Get Rid of Rodents in Boise, ID

When your technician arrives, they will complete a thorough inspection of your property for any signs of rodent activity that could indicate an infestation. This includes gnaw marks, rub marks, droppings, and live or dead rodents. We will then look for possible entry points rodents could be using to get inside as well as for conducive conditions that could be attracting rodents, such as firewood on the property, sheds in poor condition, etc.

Initial Service

Averse Pest Control provides our rodent control services to both residential and commercial properties. During your initial service visit, we will install rodent traps in the attic and garage spaces. If necessary, we will also place bait traps around the exterior of your building.

On the exterior, we will place a bait stations, usually near an air conditioning unit or where the rodent activity is located. If we detect any small entry points on the ground level during the inspection, we will advise you on sealing them with copper mesh, caulk, and/or metal flashing. In some cases, use hardware cloth to seal the holes.

Follow-Up

A week or two after your initial service visit, we will return once a week until we are certain that the entire rodent population in your home is eliminated or excluded. During these return visits, we will check all the traps present, removing any rodents and resetting traps as necessary. After this visit, we will return when you notify us that a trap has been set off. Trap servicing is part of our rodent control service. Although we do not offer sanitation services, we can offer expert recommendations on how to prevent future rodent infestations.

Rodent Control is a Necessity

Rodents are among the most destructive pests threatening Idaho property owners. In homes, they gnaw on any surfaces they come across, contaminate food, leave smear marks on walls and baseboards, leave droppings and urine wherever they nest, and generally cause a nuisance to everyone in the home. They bring all the same problems to businesses, in addition to destroying inventory, putting customers and employees at risk, and putting your reputation at stake.

Making matters worse, rodents are an extremely difficult problem to completely eradicate. The ability to fully eliminate a rodent infestation requires specific knowledge of where they’re operating and how best to target them. Otherwise, you may catch some rodents with traps and DIY methods, but the infestation itself will continue to go on.

At Averse Pest Control, we have a history of keeping homes and businesses
across the Boise Valley for years. Using the latest tools and techniques developed in the field, we specialize in creating lasting solutions for property owners that not only eliminate rodents in the present but also prevent them in the future.
